When I was a very little boy, I was taught to hang up my stockings on Christmas eve. When I was awakened the next morning, they were filled with small toys and sacks or little boxes of candy and nuts. And beside the mantle, from which my stockings hung, a Christmas tree has suddenly appeared, decorated with shiny tinsel. And on it hung presents. Other presents for us children were piled on the floor underneath. I was told Santa Claus had come down the chimney during the night and left all these things.

You must assume that your enemy is trying to know a lot about you. Keep much information from him and let him know only what you want him to know. As Christians, having secrets sounds a little unbiblical and even immoral because we teach a lot about confession, openness and honesty.  Yes, having secrets and keeping secrets in a civilian world is often evil. However, when you enter the realms of war, it is necessary to have secrets and guard them well. You must keep your enemy in the dark otherwise you will lose the war. Jesus Christ intentionally kept information and knowledge from the Pharisees and the Sadducees because they were hard-hearted evil men.

Do you have loved ones who need Jesus Christ?  What better time than the season that celebrates the coming of the Christ-child to earth so He could live and die to redeem us?  I've found that as soon as we receive Jesus, most of us immediately begin praying for our lost family members to accept Him too. We want them to discover for themselves what we experienced during that life-changing moment when we became new creations in Christ.  It certainly was that way when I was a new believer! A moment later, as I walked out of the library at Georges Vanier Secondary School to go to my French class, I was a transformed teenager. Once, while I was doing a study of  Psalm 23 , I read a book about shepherds. In it, I learned a lot about the special relationship between a shepherd and his sheep. A shepherd is a manager and a caretaker. He is the owner of his sheep…and he loves them. Earmarked One thing I learned is that a shepherd marks his sheep with an instrument called a “killing knife.” Now, it may not sound very loving, but understand that sheep do not instinctively take care of themselves. It may hurt them, but the shepherd knows the temporary pain is ultimately good for the sheep. So, he makes a distinct mark in their ear that identifies them as his own and cares for them almost like children.

Through this word, we have holiness without which no man shall see the Lord, and it grants us wisdom, power for living and strength for our journey towards heaven.  God’s word is food – milk and meat, which we must take regularly to be strong, powerful and unconquerable.  We must:

It is hard, rigid and tough. It struggles to maintain its own shape and form. It is pre-cast and inadaptable. It is not permeable. Its opinions are rigid. It does not absorb from the outsider; rather...

THE heart condition is a basic issue in Christian living. It is for this reason that we want to look at the primary place the condition of your heart occupies in your experience with the LORD Jesus Christ. I believe that God will use His word which He is bringing across your way here to set you on course towards eternity, and to make you useful for God’s kingdom.

You have been lusting after that girl in your heart for sometime now. I do not like that. Yes, it is true Lord. Have mercy on me. What do I do? Focus on me. This will save you from distractions. If your eye be single, your body will be full of light. There are a lot of things on earth that distract men from seeing me.  You must make every effort to see and focus on me in the midst of all these. The world cannot see me. But you will see me. And because you see me, you will live. (Jn14:19). You shall love the lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength (Mk 12:30). I want you to be so full of me that you have no more room for anything else. It is only when you are full of my fullness that all other lusts fade away. But Lord sometimes you sound so selfish. OK, if I love you with all my heart, and all my soul, and all my mind and all my strength, what happens to my wife and children and friends and relations and eve...

That no flesh should glory in his presence. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:29-30). Just as Christ is your life (Colossians 3:3), and also your righteousness, sanctification, and riddance (redemption), He’s also your wisdom. He being your wisdom means you’re the embodiment of all wisdom and knowledge, for the Bible says all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are replete in Him (Colossians 2:3), and He lives in you. When you talk or act, wisdom is seen and heard. You have the right mindset, because Christ has been made unto you wisdom. Have this consciousness. Respond by declaring, “Christ is my wisdom; I’m excellent, and I do excellent things.” Someone may hear you talk that way and think you’re boastful, but you’re not; you’re establishing the truth about who you are in Christ.

An arrest is a negative experience that not only embarrasses the victim, but also places complete embargo on several departments of life. Of all arrests, spiritual arrest is the most deadly, dangerous and devastating experience. Often times, the purpose behind an arrest is to subject the victim to pain, torture, ridicule, embarrassment and suffering that last for a very long time. It is possible to be arrested by law enforcement agents or captured by people with a terrible agenda. At such times, the arrested person will be hindered, limited, held and placed in confinement. Ordinarily, an arrest is embarrassing and it is capable of bringing to a halt the plans, purposes and freedom to pursue life's goals. However, when an arrest is planned, factored and precipitated in the spiritual realm, it can be highly debilitating.

It would dawn on us as we carefully examine the Scriptures that the word of God has been diligently sought for because only diligent seekers will find the word. It is needful therefore to consider certain necessary things concerning the word which will enable you face the right direction in seeking it. There are several professors of theology and degree holders in Bible knowledge who are completely ignorant of God and His salvation, despite their much learning. They are not born again and are not living lives that are comfortable with God’s standards, which are set and measured by the Word.

For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. Hebrews 5:12 Do you want to know why the Body of Christ has been in such a mess over the past few years? Do you want to know why the devil has been able to make a public display of our weaknesses? Do you want to know why, instead of being unified and strong, we've often been torn apart by division and criticisms that come not from without but within? It is because, as the Lord said in Hebrews, the people of God have need of milk and not of strong meat. They're babies! The people of God for the most part don't know His ways.
